Ruth Wilson

Ruth M. Wilson, age 90, a resident of Royal Oak since 1960, passed away April 16, 2014 at her home. She was born July 26, 1923 in Holland, MI to the late Arthur and Effie Van Dyke. Mrs. Wilson was an avid golfer, bowler and Bridge player. She was a former member of the Stonycroft Hills Golf Club in Bloomfield Hills. She also enjoyed doing crafts and sewing. She was the beloved wife of Robert; the couple married November 24, 1943 in Flint; loving mother of Terry Wilson of Sisters, OR and Carol Brian Harbert of Lewiston, NY; proud grandmother of Abbey Joel Bacak; and great grandmother of Emerson and Brynn Bacak. Private services were held. Inurnment at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. Memorials to the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak or the Beaumont Hospice Foundation are appreciated.
