age 94. Passed away on October 18, 2013 in Sterling Heights, Michigan
Born July 14, 1919 to the late Joseph and Catherine DelPomo nee Maloney
Beloved wife of the late Francis "Frank" Hafner.
Loving Mother of Frances Cornelius, Madeline Hafner, Anthony "Tony" Donna Hafner, and the late Dolores Cornelius.
Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren
Memorial Mass Monday, October 28th 10am at St. Ephrem Catholic Church, 38900 Dodge Park, SE corner of 17 Mile and Dodge Park Sterling Heights.
Please share a memorial with the family at www.sullivanfuneraldirectors.com Rose was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and homemaker. In her earlier years she belonged to the St. Angela Catholic Church Altar Society, where
she cleaned the altar and priest garments. She worked at the Red Cross and knitted blankets for the Veterans. Worked at the PTA. Rose knitted , crochet , sewed clothes and drapery. An excellent cook, baker, canned everything. Loved to garden growing African Violets and Roses. Played her little accordion and had band night with
her son- Anthony and daughter- Madeline. She was self taught to play the organ, loved her ceramics. Her love of dancing extended to Ballroom, Rumba and many others.
Her greatest thrill was going to her first promo at the age of 92 at Medilodge of Sterling Heights and danced the whole time.
