Pauline Juliana Dickson, age 76, a resident of Southfield since 1961, passed away July 1, 2014 at her home. She was born January 31, 1938 in Highland Park to the late Raymond and Edith Brown. Mrs. Dickson worked as a medical assistant for nine years at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She truly loved being a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, reading and going camping at Kountry Kampinn in Naples, Florida. She also was an avid gardener and a member of the Cranbrook House and Gardens club. She was the beloved wife of Jerry L. Dickson; the couple married October 24, 1959 at Highland Park Baptist Church; loving mother of Loren Cassey Dickson and Paul Mary Ruth Dickson; dear sister of Ardella the late Joe Guthrie, Eunice John VanGemert, Leonard Beverly Brown and the late Betty the late Bob Haugstead; and proud grandmother of Anna Rose Dickson, Lily G. Dickson, Caylen L. Dickson and Landen J. Dickson. The visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the Highland Park Baptist Church, with Pastor G. Clifford Mayes officiating. The burial will take place Wednesday 12:30 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
