Pamela Jean Vandersnick

August 10, 1951 – October 15, 2026

Pamela Jean Vandersnick passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born in Moses Lake Washington on August 10, 1951

Pam served as COO of a nursing home in St. Maries, Idaho, before taking a different path as a business owner in Upton, Wyoming. There, she owned and operated Country Corner, a bar and laundromat affectionately known by locals as “Liquor Clean,” for seven years.

On October 25, 1998, Pam met Kent on a blind date in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Their date lasted until midnight, when Pam remarked, “It’s a bad sign when you’ve got to leave early.” Kent replied, “Now that you mention it, I’ve got a 5 a.m. flight.”

Kent flew from Spokane to Phoenix, then drove a drill truck to Anchorage, Alaska. He flew back in time for their second date on November 7, and the rest was history. They were married on October 6, 2000, at the Hitching Post in Coeur d’Alene. Through their marriage, Pam welcomed two amazing sons into her life, and Kent welcomed two daughters.

Pam is survived by her husband, Kent; her daughters, Shawna Sneed of California and Brooke and Zack Dean of Evergreen, Colorado; her sons, Joshua and Chrissy Vandersnick of Miles City, Montana, and Joe and Amber Vandersnick of Osborne, Idaho; her grandchildren, Beau, Sami, Coronah, Shelby, Tessa, Archer, and Violet; and seven great-grandchildren. Fur babies Mia, Abbey and Kalie.

Pam had the best sense of humor and she found the funny in most everything.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mona Rasor, and her father, George LaValley.

Pam will be dearly missed by her family and all who were blessed to know her. Celebration of life pending
