Mr. Theodore Mellor

Theodore M. Mellor, 77, of Upton, Wyoming died Tuesday, December 8th at Fort Meade V.A. Hospital.
He was born April 9, 1938 at the family ranch South of Upton the son of Stuart and Fern Mellor. He was a graduate of Upton High School before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. Following his service with the Air Force he owned and operated Mellor Repair and Wrecking in Upton. Ted also helped his community by becoming a member of Upton Fire Department in which he had served as Chief. Several terms have been used to describe Ted, including "Witty, Grouchy and Cantankerous."
Survivors include a son Jeff (Michele) Mellor and granddaughter Zoey Mellor of Cheyenne; daughter Tina (Bill) Moore and grandchildren Rachel and Gregory Moore of Sacramento, California; sisters and brothers Dick Mellor of Spokane, Washington, Jacqueline Wicker and Nellie Dowdy both of Thermopolis, Wyoming.
Funeral services are planned for 1:00 PM Sunday, December 13th at the Upton Community Center with Rev. Sharee Johnson of Upton United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Upton Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Upton Volunteer Fire Department.
