Mrs. Theresa Metz

Theresa J. "Tess" Metz, 92, passed away Monday, October 8th at Weston County Health Services in Newcastle, Wyoming. Tess was born in Cambria, Wyoming on April 14, 1920 and lived most of her life in the Weston County area. She graduated from Newcastle High School and went to Spearfish College one year. On March 9, 1944 married Ronald "Hap" Metz. They have one son Ron. Tess and her family lived in Newcastle until June, 1968. They then moved to Four Corners, Wyoming where they operated the Prairie Store and Post Office until September, 1990. Tess and her family returned to Newcastle, Wyoming. She enjoyed being with her "bridge buddies" and all her friends. Tess was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors are her son Ron, Marc Crouch, her brother James Pisciotti, his wife Irene and their family and a host of relatives and friends.
