Mrs. Ruth Walloth

May 6, 1919 — January 19, 2015

Ruth Ernestine Walloth was born May 6, 1919 at home at Ridge, Montana, the daughter of Ernest R. and Reathal S. (Craft) Cadwell. She completed her Bachelor's Degree at Spearfish S.D., and taught elementary school for over 20 years after teaching in a one room school house and smaller schools. She retired from Gertrude Burns Elementary School in Newcastle WY where she had been teaching second grade.

On June 12, 1942, she was united in marriage to Leo Walloth. Four children were born to Ruth and Leo. They lived in Eastern Montana and Western South Dakota until 1961 when they moved to Newcastle, Wyoming. Ruth was a member of the Assembly of God Church there, serving as Sunday School teacher, Missionette Leader, Women's Ministries Leader and on the Board of Trustees.

Ruth suffered several strokes during the last six months, and lived at her Michigan home with John and Carolyn Thompson Kingsley, Michigan until her death. She enjoyed the many music events and was at every event until her health condition kept her at home. A Music Celebration to honor her life will be held at the Thompsons in the spring.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Leo; her parents, Ernest and Reathal; one son, Timothy; two sisters, Thelma and Evelyn; and two brothers, Francis and Gilbert.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn (John) Thompson of Kingsley, Michigan; Ruth Schueler of Ceylon, Minnesota; and Kathleen (Joe) Imholt of Marysville, Washington. Also surviving are two sisters, Grace McKnight of Hastings, Michigan and Carol Mattern of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and one brother, Philip Cadwell of Three Forks, Montana; six grandchildren: Kent Mills, Janice Ensing, Marilee Sando, Nathan Schueler, Sara Barci and Janae DeLong; eight great grandchildren and numerous friends and extended family.
