Mrs. Jodean Castelli

Jodean Ann Castelli, 62, of Newcastle, WY, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her home.
Jodean was born August 12, 1954, to Dean and Joan (Heckman) Ross in Torrington, WY. Shortly after Jody's birth Dean and Joan moved to Newcastle where she was raised. She graduated from Newcastle High School in 1972. She married Louis F. Castelli on February 17, 1973. She worked at National Bank of Newcastle until they started a family. After the boys started grade school Jody completed correspondence classes through Eastern Wyoming Community College where she earned an Associate degree in Elementary Education. Jody spent her 27 years working in education at the Newcastle Elementary School and Middle School. Jody enjoyed quilting and spending time with her granddaughters. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Perceptor Sigma Chapter sorority for 32 years and held every position in the sorority.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and devoted many hours participating in church activities.
Jodean is survived by her husband, Louie Castelli, sons Ross (Jessica) Castelli of Parker, CO, Travis (Jennifer) Castelli and granddaughters Lydia and Tamsin all of Sundance, WY, one brother, Chuck (Melissa) Ross of Saudi Arabia, one sister, Jackie (Doug) Sorelle of Kingman, AZ, brother-in-laws, Garry (Marcy) Castelli of Belleville, IL, David Castelli of Gillette, WY, Steve (Solly) Skinner of Gillette, WY, sister-in-law Cheri (Steve) Menke of Gillette, WY, mother-in-law, Gloria Skinner of Gillette, WY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law, Paul Skinner, and sister-in-law, Sherry Castelli.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 14, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Newcastle, WY. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetary.
