Mr. Sam Lipp

April 15, 1982 — January 23, 2015

A much-loved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Sam Lipp, 32, of Newcastle, WY passed away January 23 at ShadeHill Reservoir near Lemmon, SD.
He was born April 15, 1982 in Newcastle the son of Jerry and Nora Lipp. As a young boy he was very active in Little League, Fall Guys Wrestling, basketball and football. Sam graduated from Newcastle High School in 2000 and from Sheridan College in 2003.
On May 24, 2008 he married Jennifer Praeuner in Newcastle. They have three children: the late William Henry, Laura Raye(2) and Clara Rose (8 months). Sam worked for Bridger Pipeline, a True Company. He was previously employed by the U.S. Forest Service and Wyoming Pipeline.
Sam was a devoted father and husband. His world revolved around watching his young girls play and learn new things. He enjoyed taking Laura on 4-wheeler rides and she was Daddy's Little Helper outside and in the shop. Clara loved playing peek-a-boo and wrestling with Daddy. Sam enjoyed all things outdoors: hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, and camping. He was a skilled welder, carpenter and all-around handyman. His quick wit and humor made him fun to be around and he never met a stranger. Family and friends were always Sam's priority; he was the first to help anybody who needed it.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and two daughters Laura and Clara; mom Nora Lipp, brother Phil(Kristi) Lipp, niece and nephew LaKacee and JJ Lipp all of Newcastle; in-laws Kirk(Kim) Praeuner (Newcastle), Lisa(Chris) Pzinski and nephew Cole (Lusk, WY), Shawna Praeuner (Douglas, WY) as well as numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his dad Jerry Lipp, son Will Lipp, and grandparents William and Delores Lipp, and Jim and Gladys Larson.
