Mr. Robert Habeck

Robert W. Habeck, 62, was born April 19, 1953 in Spearfish, South Dakota. He died early Monday, January 25th at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

He attended schools at Sundance, Wyoming, graduating in 1971. After a short time he went to work for Sundance Plumbing an Heating for many years. He worked several seasons as a snowmobile trail groomer and a few years as a truck driver and last worked for railroad transportation in Edgemont, South Dakota. He has been living in Newcastle for the past few months.

Bob enjoyed spending time with nature. He had many hobbies that would allow him to be outdoors. Bob was confirmed in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod at Mt. Calvary Church in Sundance.

He was preceded in death by his father Harry Habeck; he is survived by his mother June Habeck; wife Tami Habeck; daughter Jeannie Schiefer and some very dear friends. Services were held Monday, February 1st at 10:00 am at Worden Chapel in Newcastle with Rev. Ron Sample as officiant. Burial followed at Green Mountain Cemetery at Sundance, Wyoming. A gathering of friends followed the interment to which all are invited for coffee, sandwiches and other foods.
