Matthew Jon Emmert, 25, of Rapid City South Dakota passed away on October 2, 2012 at the family ranch near Four Corners, Wyoming.
  
  
  He was born on March 18, 1987 in Newcastle, Wyoming the son of Lawrence Dean Emmert and Twila (Bonsell) Emmert. As a young man he was enrolled in Newcastle and Rapid City schools. He graduated from Western Dakota Tech with degrees in automobile and diesel mechanics. He enjoyed his family, working on cars, bowling and four wheelers. He was compassionate, caring, honest and loving. He will be sadly missed.
  
  
  Survivors include his father Lawrence Dean (Cathy) Emmert; mother Twila Kay Bonsell (Jim) Willadson; brother Thomas Emmert; sister Amanda Jo Emmert; grandparents Russell and Leslie Bonsell; aunts Ramona Adams, Debbie Emmert; uncles Donnie Adams and Jeff Emmert; his nieces Kyla Emmert and Sheila Mc Elway; cousins Kayla Health, Bridle Health, Tyler Adams, Jamie, Jordan and Jake Emmert.
  
  
  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Larry and Joyce Emmert.
  
  
  Visitation will be Sunday, October 7th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Worden Chapel in Newcastle.
  
  
  Services will be one Monday, October 8th at 10:00 AM at The Country Church at Four Corners, Wyoming with Pastor Bill Haley officiating. Interment will follow services at Boyd Cemetery.
  
  
  Pallbearers will be family and friends of Matthew.
  
  
  A memorial will be established at a later date in Matthew's name to bring awareness to bullying.
