Mr. Dean Fulk

Dean L Fulk, 88, formerly of Newcastle, WY died Tuesday January 21st at Ekalaka Montana where he had resided for six years. Dean was born December 19th, 1925 at Wheatland Wyoming the son of Levi and Violet Fulk. He was a graduate of Wheatland High School in 1943. On September 2, 1951 he married Lois Sorheim at Deadwood, South Dakota. The couple moved to Newcastle where Dean worked in the trucking industry for 45+ years. Following his retirement from the trucking business he owned and operated a fire extinguisher business. He was a member of the National Bowling Association, President of AGC and was associated with the Boy Scouts of America in his younger years. He enjoyed attending to his his flower gardens and lawn and puttering around his garage. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.
Surviving him are his children Pamela (Jim) Wesley and Kevin Fulk of Newcastle, and Janet (Bill) Carlisle of Ekalaka MT; grandchildren Tamie (Mike) Waggener and Carrie (Dan) Harley both of Newcastle, Nicky Wesley of Denver, CO, Carla (Chris) Jones of Brooklyn, NY and Ryan (Clover) Dowdy of Ekalaka; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are numerous extended family & friends
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of forty five years, Lois.
A public visitation will be held at Worden Chapel in Newcastle Friday, January 24th from 5:00 to7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25th at the Michael's Senior Center. A reception will be held immediately following burial at Greenwood Cemetery at the senior center.
