Miss Norman

October 24, 2014 — October 24, 2014

Emmersyn Drea Norman passed peacefully in the arms of her loving family on October 24, 2014 at St. Lukes-Presbyterian Hospital in Denver, Colorado. During her short 59 minutes here on Earth, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends.

We knew this little girl would need a strong name for some time now. We chose Emmersyn because its meaning is brave and powerful. Drea mean courageous. Emmersyn showed us all these qualities throughout this struggle.

This unfair death cheated us of a lifetime of loving Emmersyn Drea. We wonder what she would have given this world. We are reminded that she will always be in our hearts.

Emmersyn is survived by her parents, Justin and Katie Norman of Upton, WY; sisters Avril, Ella and Jaxynn, brother Landon; maternal grandparents, Dean and Sonia Strong of Upton, WY; paternal grandpa Gene Norman of Newcastle, Wyoming aunt Kari Strong; uncles Greg (Becca) Strong and Scott (Erin) Norman and cousins Ben and Bailey Bonnet and Cameron Strong.

She was preceded in death by Grandma Karen Norman.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 30th at 1:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery at Upton, Wyoming. Pastor Sharee Johnson will officiate. Worden Funeral Directors have been entrusted with the arrangements.

If anyone would like to make a donation in Emmersyn's memory, please donate to "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" infant bereavement photography at http://www.nilmdts.org.
