Miss Kuemmerle

Patricia Eileen Kuemmerle, age 88, passed away on November 21, 2014 in Sheridan, Wyoming. Pat was born November 27, 1925 to Herbert W. Kuemmerle and Mary Edgmon Kuemmerle at the family ranch South of Upton, Wyoming.

Pat was raised on the family ranch with her brother and sisters and enjoyed taking care of the baby animals and helping with the farm chores. She attended country schools in Weston County.

Pat resided at RENEW in Sheridan since 1972. She enjoyed living in Sheridan and participating in all the activities and special events that RENEW offered such as Special Olympics, summer camps, time spent at the Senior Center with friends and her RENEW family. She delighted in traveling and was able to take many trips to California, Oklahoma, the Grand Canyon, Disneyland, the Ice Capades in Salt Lake City, Disney World and she especially liked the Caribbean cruise. Pat also enjoyed summer vacations with her parents and getting acquainted with her many nieces and nephews.

Pat is survived by her sisters, Claire Finn of Upton, Gladys Pridgeon of Gillette and her brother Carl Kuemmerle of Upton as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Mary Kuemmerle, brother-in-laws Virgil Finn and Don Pridgeon, sister-in-law, Hazel Kuemmerle and great niece Shayla Rae Finn.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Worden Funeral Home, Newcastle, WY.
