Michael Scott

Michael Scott, 61, of Newcastle, Wyoming, went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2025. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 7, 1964, to Marvin and Virginia Scott. He had three siblings, brothers Greg (Tina) and Kevin (Chris) and sister Mary.

He married his beloved wife Kathryn Wheeler in Northglenn, Colorado on October 19, 1985. They were married for 40 wonderful, blessed years. They had two beloved sons, Brian (Ashley) Scott of Ida Grove, Iowa and Joshua Scott of Windsor, Colorado. He leaves behind his beloved sister and brother-in-law Jan (Andy) Maes and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Michael was employed at RTD (Regional Transportation District) in Boulder, Colorado for 34 years. He and Kathryn retired to Newcastle, Wyoming in 2019. He loved working on weekends at the Weston County Humane Society. He loved the dogs and adopted two sweet puppies to go home and live with his 13 chickens, three cats, and 15-year-old poodle. His favorite hobbies were flower and vegetable gardening.

He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
