Michael MacDonald

Michael "Mac" MacDonald, age 61, a resident of Royal Oak, passed away May 2, 2011 at his home. He was born November 2, 1949 in Detroit, MI to the late Charles F. and Mary. Mac is survived by his daughter Katie whom he loved more than anyone or anything. Mr. MacDonald was the loving brother of Charles Franklin MacDonald of Kileen, TX, and the late Karen Spanos. Mac's favorite pastime was golf, which he played just for fun and in a league. He also enjoyed bowling and tabletop shuffleboard. Mr. MacDonald grew up in Birmingham and worked over 20 years for his family's business, Drake Printing. Michael served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mac truly loved his family especially his daughter Katie, he will be missed by many. A memorial visitation will take place Wed. 2 p.m. until time of Memorial Service 7:30 p.m. at the Wm.
