Mary Kelly

Kelly, Mary Helen, age 71, a lifelong resident of Royal Oak, passed away September 17, 2014 at her home. She was born November 9, 1942 in Detroit to the late Joseph and Helen Carbert. Mrs. Kelly graduated from Shrine High School in 1960 and the University of Detroit in 1964. She enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her garden and flowers. Anyone that knew her, knew that she had a big heart. She was the beloved wife of J.P. Kelly; the couple married July 9, 1965 at the Shrine; loving mother of Erin Todd Whiteley Kelly and Heather Kelly; dear sister of Patricia Rich Collins; proud grandmother of Lucas Whiteley and Hannah Warner. The visitation will be Friday 3-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary and service Saturday 11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
