Mary Alice LeBlanc Kage, age 84, of Franklin, formerly of Royal Oak, passed away May 14, 2014. She was born August 23, 1929 in Royal Oak. Mrs. Kage was formerly a sales clerk for both Federal's and Crowley's department stores. She loved watching the Detroit Tigers, going shopping and to concerts Neil Diamond was a favorite, but most of all she loved being a grandmother. She was the beloved wife William Kage. Cherished mother of Janice Micheal Steingold. Adoring grandmother of Meghan. Dearest sister of Margaret Dean Frerichs, the late Mary Irene Marvin and Henry LeBlanc. Devoted daughter of the late Emil and Grace LeBlanc. Loving aunt and great aunt. Good friend to many. The visitation will be Sunday 3-8 p.m. and Monday 12 noon until the time of the service 1 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. Shiva will take place at the home of Micheal and Janice Steingold following the cemetery service on Monday and 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday.
