Mabel Copeland

Mabel Lorine Copeland, age 100, a resident of Hazel Park, formerly of Livingston, Tennessee, passed away May 25, 2014 in Troy. She was born May 11, 1914 in Overton County, Tennessee. Mabel was the beloved wife of the late J.B. Copeland. Loving mother of the late Kimball Padgett who passed away December 12, 2008 and Judith Estile Stephenson. Grandmother of Barry Leonie Padgett, Kimberly Alan Zoltowski, Kerry Jennifer Kreft and Karla Jackson. Great-grandmother of Dane and Harper Padgett; Alex, Max and Zak Zoltowski; Kendall and Karsen Jackson. Mabel was an avid Christian and truly enjoyed going to church. She was a waitress at Hedges Wigwam and Sign of the Beefeater. She enjoyed embroidery, reading and spending time with her friends and family. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E. of Woodward, Royal Oak. Funeral Service Thursday 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Mabel will lay at rest in Good Hope Cemetery in Livingston, Tennessee.
