Lois Moore

Lois Therese Moore Nee Flanigan, age 85, a resident of Royal Oak since 1950, died September 20, 2012 at her home. She was born September 3, 1927 in Atlantic City, NJ. Mrs. Moore was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Royal Oak. She is survived by her children, Susan Everett, Kathleen William McEntee, Patrick Karen Moore, Michael Jacquelyn Moore, Kevin Donna Moore and Maureen Bennett; sister, Frances Saxby; 10 grandchildren; and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Moore, on March 16, 2007. The visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 1-9 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Moore will lie in state Wednesday, September 26, 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Royal Oak, with the Rev. Peter Donohue, O.S.A. officiating. The burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
