Leona Dushane

Leona V. Dushane, age 91, a resident of Huntington woods, formerly of Lake Boulevard in St. Clair Shores, died January 20, 2011 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born December 9, 1919 in St. Clair Shores. Mrs. Dushane was a bookkeeper and accountant for Farmcrest Bakery in Detroit. She enjoyed sailing, traveling and warm winters in Venice, FL. She had been a member, with her husband, of the WXYZ Retirees Association and the Detroit Yacht Club. Loving wife of the late Harold. Daughter of the late Earl and Ona Palmer Peabody. Sister of the late Sarah Peabody, Edna Edgar Warnke, Wanda Peabody, Earl Marge Peabody and Phillip Geraldine Peabody. The visitation will be Sunday 3-9 p.m. and service Monday 11:30 a.m. at the Wm.
