June Tarr

June Pauline Tarr, age 93, a longtime resident of Troy and Pinckney, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Chelsea Retirement Village. She was born June 2, 1920 in Fairmont, West Virginia to the late Henry G. and Mildred A. nee Davis Glover. Beloved wife of the late Dayton Davis Tarr May 17, 1986; loving mother of John "Jack," Gary, the late Sandra and Lawrence; dear sister of Henry Glover, Jr. of Florida, William Glover of Texas, the late Geri McKee of Howell, Peggy Bain of Arizona and Betty Barron. June was a homemaker and donated her time volunteering with school children. She thoroughly enjoyed her family and friends. The visitation will be Thursday 2-9 p.m. and service Friday 11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Road 4 blocks E. of Woodward, Royal Oak.
