John H.Rumschlag Sr., Age 89, resident of Warren, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret. Dear father of Tom Linda, John Alice, Dan Sheila, Henry Lynn, Ann Tony Lopez, Martha Wes Swint Rumschlag, and the late Mike. Dear father-in-law of Brenda Rumschlag. Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Doris Shea, Jim Leonard, Ed Nancy Bedard, and Frank O'Shea. Predeceased by his sisters, Mary Shotnick, Ilene Potocki and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place Friday at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blocks E. of Van Dyke Utica, from 2:00 pm-9:00 pm with a scripture service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass Saturday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica Rd., Utica where he will lie in state 9:30 am until time of Mass 10:00 am. Memorials appreciated to McLaren Hospice.
