Jane Larson

Jane Alden Larson, age 89 of Shelby Twp. passed away Dec. 8, 2013 at her residence. She was born Feb. 21, 1924 in Brockton, Mass. Beloved mother of Stephanie A. Frey, Stacia George Champion, Richard W. Larson and the late Sharon Miles. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Alden and Myrtle Gardner, 5 sisters and 1 brother. Jane worked as a cook with the Warren Consolidated Schools, Camp Tamarack in Brighton and was a housemother at Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw for 20 years. Jane was a very kind, considerate and compassionate person to all. She was always ready for a road trip or an adventure. Family, friends and faith filled her life. Funeral service 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica. Visitation 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
