Irene Andre

Irene Andre, age 89, a 55-year resident of Royal Oak, passed away December 2, 2012. Wife of the late Myron "Mike". 36-year companion and caregiver of George Jones. Mrs. Andre was active in many area parades, riding in a 1930 Ford Model A and belonging to the Oak Leaf Model A Club in Royal Oak. She was an avid reader and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clawson, where she was a choir leader. She will be missed by friends and neighbors. Mrs. Andre will lie in state Wednesday 1:30 p.m. until the time of service 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Flowers at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
