Gregory Brown

Gregory J. Brown of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan on June 22, 2014. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 1, 1961 to John A. and Deloris Shene Brown. Greg enjoyed camping with his family in addition to watching his son play football, shopping with his daughter Hunter, and enjoying one on one time with his daughter Sommer. Surviving Greg Brown are his wife of 22 years Mary Brown of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, son Austin Brown, daughters Sommer and Hunter Brown also of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, brothers Danny Denise Dayvolt of Warren, Michigan, Doug Brown of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Jimmy Cheryl Brown of Shelby Township, Michigan, sisters Ruthann Richard Meitz of Clinton Township, Michigan, Nancy Dennis Ahrens of Shelby Township, Michigan, and Sherry Dan Kennedy of Shelby Township, Michigan, mother-in-law Mary Lawrence of Shelby Township, Michigan, sisters-in-law Shannon Mark Fox of Detroit, Michigan, Jenny Ron Schaeff of Shelby Township, Michigan, and brother-in-law Anthony Magahee of Detroit, Michigan. Also surviving are Greg's nieces and nephews; Danny David Dayvolt, Derek Dayvolt, Jill Hott, Lisa Monje, Julie Meitz, Ann Marie Stamper, Bobby Stamper, Amber Rasmussen, Christine Brown, Nikole Sheldon, Zakary Kennedy, Kimberly Hardin, Ricky Brown, Jacob Schaeff, Nicklaus Schaeff, Chase Schaeff, and Crystal Lawrence. Greg was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Friday at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica. Visitation 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Interment Van Hoosen Jones Stoney Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be left in care of Habitat for Humanity or contributions are appreciated to the family.
