Bubbles loved being outside and you could find her tending her yard and flower beds. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and knitting. She crocheted Santa Claus Dolls for the older grandkids. She also crocheted new Christmas ornaments each year for all her grandchildren.

Brownie and Bubbles loved to go camping and most weekends they could be found at Cold Creek, Beaver Creek Campground, Deerfield, Hart Ranch, the Big Horns, or Angostura Lake. They traveled in their motorhome to Arizona, Colorado, Montana, and Texas, plus other places. They also took a trip down the Oregon coast. They spent many winters in Yuma, Arizona.
