Fern Bosshard

Bosshard, Fern M. Aged 91, of Berkley, MI died peacefully after months of declining health on December 11, 2012. Fern is survived by her three children: Sue, Bill and Ray. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John. Fern was born in Sault Saint Marie, MI, but soon moved with her family to Detroit. She was a high school graduate who attended Detroit's Cass Technical High School. She was active at First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak where she was a member of several committees, taught Sunday School and worked as a secretary/receptionist. Fern was an active gardener and enjoyed reading a variety of literary genres. She supported a wide variety of social and medical research causes.
