Ernest Welton

Ernest Merld Welton, 72, of Osage, Wyoming, passed away April 7, 2022, of natural causes. Ernie was born May 14, 1949, to Ernest and Alberta Weton in Rawlins, Wyoming, the oldest of three children. Ernie grew up in the Platte Valley area near Saratoga, Wyoming, learning to work cattle and ride horses. Ernie worked on ranches in Wyoming, Colorado, and Arizona breaking horses. He also worked construction operating heavy equipment. Ernie is survived by his sister Charlotte Sandy and brother-in-law Ernie Sandy, two nieces Heather Anglin and Kathleen Lilly and many cousins. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, a sister (Mari-Lynn) as well as grandparents and numerous Aunts and Uncles.
