Ella Goetz

Ella Louise Goetz nee Willis age 94, a resident of Warren, passed away, November 13, 2013 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. She was born June 6, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a very sweet mother and grandmother. A long time member of Church of the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Birmingham, MI. Ella enjoyed cooking, baking, and bowling. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Tiger's. Ella really loved taking trips to Florida with her husband George and also entertaining friends. Most of all she truly loved spending time with her family. She will be missed. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of Joanne Ron Vollbrecht, Carol Bill Leahy, Sharon the late Don Gould, and Bill Goetz. Dear grandmother of Laurel Gould, Carol James Hill, Lisa Jeff Henningsen, Amy Brian Stanton, Jill Jeff Griessel, Kerry Duane Niedzwiecki, and Doug Kim Leahy. Great-grandmother of Cindy, Emily, Matthew, Carlee, Shelby, Julia, Jessica, Amanda, Hunter, Heather, Adam, Austin, Cate, Clara, Briggs, and Jane. Predeceased by her siblings Lillian Seifferlein, Doug Willis, and Ed Willis. Visitation Saturday from 4-8PM and Sunday 1-8 PM at the Wm Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blocks East of Van Dyke Utica, Michigan. Funeral service Monday 11 AM at the funeral home.
