Elizabeth Burrell

Burrell, Elizabeth "Betty", age 66, passed away July 14, 2014. Beloved wife of Bob whom she married June 6, 1981. Loving mother of James Clapp, SuLynn Clapp, Angela Burrell and Christopher Burrell. Cherished grandmother of Ashley Clapp, Julie Clapp, Greg Clapp, Brandy Clapp, Loren Gardner, Christopher Gardner and Mason Clapp. Great-grandmother of Keatan Clapp and Zayden Gardner. Dear sister of Marie Dennis Malcolm of Louden, TN, Gary Jan Fournier of Rochester, MI, Celia Fournier of Marion, IN, Joanne Rick Blosser of Fort Wayne, IN, Bruce Fournier of Hazel Park, MI, Alfred Sujuan Li Fournier of Maricopa, AZ and Roberta Newsome of Madison Heights, MI. Dearest daughter of the late Alfred and Frances Fournier. Betty was an example to all. From her first diagnosis of cancer in 1989 she fought the good fight. She would not give up because she said too many people would be hurt by her death. How right she was! She also was a 1966 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Royal Oak. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks East of Woodward, Royal Oak, Michigan. Memorial service will take place Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
