Beloved wife of the late John L. "Jack". Loving sister of the late Marie V. Shannon. Dear aunt of Patricia Marty Mattlin, Michael Shannon, Daniel Sue Shannon, Colleen Doug Seewald. Great aunt of Ryan Ewa Gallagher, Sean Kelly Gallagher, Meghan Seewald, Kyle Seewald, Trevor Ball and Kyle Ball. Great-great aunt of Landon Ball and Hanna Gallagher. Mrs. Gardner was born in Ferndale to Francis and Regina Grinkey. She was a lifelong resident of South Oakland County, lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was a graduate of St. Mary Catholic High School in Royal Oak. In 1993 she retired from J.C. Penney where she worked as a salesperson for over 30 years. Private services have been held. Arrangements by Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, Royal Oak.
