Beloved husband of the late Irene Catherine. Dear father of Mary Cecilia Frank Vertin. Proud grandfather of Valerie Michael Brennan and Michael Vertin. Great grandfather of Michaela Rose Brennan. Mr. O'Malley retired from Michigan Bell Telephone Company. He was a 4th Degree member of the George Monaghan Knights of Columbus Council Livonia. An avid Detroit Tigers and Toronto Maple Leaf fan, he also enjoyed movies and old-time radio programs. Funeral Mass Wednesday, December 18th, in state at 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
