Son of the late Krist and Mary Holden. Beloved husband of the late Ellen. Loving father of Suzanne James Dietrich, Donna William Johnson, and Antoinette Christopher Wilson. Proud grandfather of Matthew Jill, Andrew Kellie, and Megan Dietrich, Elizabeth Anthony Kozadinos, Jordan and Jacob Wilson, as well as six great grandchildren. Mr. Holden was predeceased by his brothers Edward, Clarence, Richard, James, and sister Mary Ellen Huminski. He was a proud WWII veteran, a prison camp survivor, Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. Visitation Monday 3-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E. of Woodward, Royal Oak. Funeral Mass Tuesday, in state 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church, Royal Oak.
