Donald Bishop

Donald G. Bishop, age 75, passed away on December 7, 2013. He was born in Detroit, MI on November 21, 1938. Survived by Donna Bishop. Beloved father of Amy Paul Scheidler, Beth Clay Baldwin and Donald Paige. Loving grandfather of Abigail, Lindsey, Zachary, CJ, Donnie III and Dylan. Also survived by 60 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Martin and Margaret Bishop; siblings, Martin Jr., Robert, Marjorie, Albert, Mary, Joan, Florence and Frank; 1 niece, 3 nephews and 2 great nephews. Donald was an Eagle Scout, a U.S. Army veteran and business man. He loved golfing and the Michigan State Spartans. His passions were his family and friends. Donald had even won the "Good Samaritan Award". Visitation will be Monday from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 1-9 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E. of Woodward, Royal Oak. Funeral service will take place at the National Shrine of the Little Flower on Wednesday, where he will lie instate at 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Capuchins.
