Mr. Pierce was a U.S. Army veteran and was stationed in Germany. He was the owner of Green Carpet Sod Co. in Madison Heights. In previous years, he enjoyed playing tennis. Beloved father of Sheryl Michael Bradshaw. Grandfather of Lyndsay Michael, Alec, David, Raylene and Deanne. Also survived by many cousins, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday 6 p.m. until time of memorial service 7 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
