Daniel Emmons

Emmons, Daniel James, age 56, of Madison Heights, passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord on September 29, 2013 after a long battle with multiple health issues. Loving husband of Debbie nee Gaer for 33 years; father of Andrew Erica and Christopher, both of Madison Heights; brother of Michael Lori Wiener of Warren, Joseph Michelle Emmons of St. Clair Shores, Laura David Clement of Madison Heights and Tina Conklin of Hazel Park. Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and worked as a computer programmer/analyst for Compuware until he became disabled in 2002. Dan was previously on the deacon board of Calvary Baptist Church of Hazel Park, and active in the bus ministry, Awana program, and children's camp. Visitation will be on Wednesday 3-8:30 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Service Thursday 11 a.m. at the funeral home with procession to cemetery to follow.
