Carolyn McCorkle

Carolyn Sue McCorkle, age 74, a resident of Madison Heights, formerly of Rochester Hills, passed away January 23, 2014 at St. John Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights. She was born August 15, 1939. She especially loved spending time with her family and was affectionately known as Susie. She enjoyed making crafts and crocheting. She was an avid card player especially Rummy and Solitaire. Susie was a choir member in high school and truly enjoyed singing. She her grandchildren. Loving mother of Scott and Dana McCorkle. Dear grandmother of Scotty, Jesse, Cassie, the late Corah, and Alex McCorkle; Audrey, Katie Levi Yacheson, Sara, and Sam Neece. Loved sister of Sharon Torretta. Aunt of Tony Danielle Toretta, Lisa Toretta, Terry Mark Marino, Sherry Steve Strande, and Gregory Donna Toretta. Visitation Sunday from 3-8 PM at the Wm Sullivan Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd 3 Blocks East of Van Dyke Utica, Michigan 48317. Funeral service Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Petersmarck officiating. Private interment at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills, Michigan.
