Carl Taulbee

Carl Donald Taulbee, age 82, a resident of Clay Township, formerly a 44-year resident of Pleasant Ridge, died July 17, 2011 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. He was born October 18, 1928 in Detroit to the late Carl and Thelma Taulbee. Mr. Taulbee was a Wayne State University Alumni, a U.S. Navy veteran, and was employed as a professional engineer. He was always referred by friends and family as a "white knight". He was a selfless person and touched the lives of many. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Hoag; the couple married September 27, 1987; children, Carl Russell and Gale Robert Simon; brother, Dale Joan Taulbee; and granddaughter, Alyssa. A "Celebration of Life" for Carl Donald Taulbee will be held on July 30, 2011 from 3-8 p.m. at the Lions Hall, 230 LaCroix, Harsens Island, MI 48028. Arrangements by Wm.
