Athena Vorpagel

Athena Mae Vorpagel, age 100, a resident of Royal Oak, died May 15, 2010 at the Sanctuary at Alexander in Royal Oak. She was born May 6, 1910 in Detroit. She was the loving mother of Clareene Apt and Carolyn Wolfston; daughter of Frank Rundels and Mae Lillian Grady Rundels Day; sister of James Rundels, Mildred Miller and Lillian Blackstone; grandmother of six; and great grandmother of four. The visitation will be Wednesday 11:30 a.m. until the time of service 2 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley.
