Alice Bryant

Bryant, Alice Louise nee Rogers, age 91, passed away peacefully at home in Royal Oak on November 10, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Louis Scott Bryant to whom she was married for 62 years. Dear mother of Gail Bryant and the late Denise Bryant. Alice was a longtime resident of Highland Park, where she grew up, attended school 1938 graduate of HPHS, attended nursing school and later WSU for courses in library sciences. She was a 30-year employee of the city and loved her job as a librarian at the Highland Park McGregor Library. Alice retired with her husband, Scott, to Venice, FL in 1985, where they continued a very active social life for many enjoyable years, partaking in outdoor activities including tennis, golfing and swimming. She was also a music lover and played the piano until her last year. She was an avid Bridge player and reader of many books until her last days.
